There are homemade treatments available to treat your acne and the only thing you have to do is look in your refrigerator and viola, instant remedy.
Several years ago, a lot of people just reached inside their refrigerators and made use of different products to make their hair beautiful and shiny. Some of the products that olden people used in their hair included eggs, mayonnaise and even beer. These products did wonders to their hair, but then corporations invented shampoos and conditioners that replicated the natural goods. From then on, hair care went from one’s home to the salon, which actually costs a huge amount of money.
There are some products found in your refrigerator that were used in the past years to make hair more manageable, cure acne and other beautifying purposes. Here are some things that you can apply in order to treat your acne:
Oatmeal Mask
You should do an oatmeal mixture and once it becomes paste-like, you can now spread it all over your face. However, make sure that you will use sugar-free oatmeal since sugar would irritate and even scrape your face. You should let the oatmeal dry and once it hardens, you can now rinse it off using cold water. This will help in pulling out the bacteria found in the pores that cause acne.
Plain Yogurt Mask
Yogurt is not only healthy, but it can also be used to treat acne. You can spread some of the yogurt all over your face and you should wait for it to dry. Once it is dry, you should rinse it off and pat your face dry with a clean towel. Yogurt actually has live organisms that will help remove the bacteria on your skin and you would even notice how clean your face is.
Egg Mask
Beat an egg white and wait until it becomes foamy. Spread it all over your face and wait for it to set. You should let the mask sit on your face for around 15 minutes before you wash it off. This egg mask will remove the oil found in your face and it is an anti-aging mask as well.
Cucumber Treatment
Cucumber is more popularly known as a cure for soothing tired eyes. It actually has qualities for decreasing swelling and redness, which can be found on your face when you are suffering from acne. Just set a slice of cucumber on the affected areas in your face and settle down. You need to be lying on your bed when doing this. You can leave them on your face for around 10 minutes for it to work. Once you remove the cucumber slices, expect your face to feel fresh.
Balsamic Vinegar
Balsamic vinegars are not just for salad dressings now. You can apply a small amount of balsamic vinegar on the concerned areas in your face and this will shrink the pimples. However, expect that there will be a sting to it, but also expect that due to the sharpness of the vinegar, it would definitely work in drying up your pimple and remove the bacteria.
Lemon Juice
Like the balsamic vinegar, you can actually substitute lemon or even lime juice and use it the same way. A little goes a long way here, and make sure you do not carry it out too far. One advantage that lemon juice has over the balsamic vinegar is its smell. The lemon juice has a sweet, fresh smell compared to the strong odor of the vinegar. You may apply this on your face before going to bed and it would remove your pimples.
All things considered, your house, most especially your refrigerator, is not only a place to keep food, but it can also boast of treatments. Aside from watching what you eat, you should also apply the right products on your face to increase your capability in curing the dreaded acne.
