How to have the right jewelry, right shoes, right purses to match your outfit? Did you know that you don’t have to buy really expensive clothing to look great? All you have to do is to learn how to pick the right accessories to match your outfit with and everyone would go say, “Wow!”
Complement your outfit – If you are wearing a simple outfit, you can glamorize it by adding bangles, big belts, and bright colored purses or shoes. If you are already wearing a pretty bold outfit, you can just wear some conservative looking, plain earrings and bracelets. Do not overdo it.
Complement the season’s hottest trend – It is always useful to browse among fashion magazines to know what is hot and what is not. You can try showing off your waist with big bright colors, like yellow, orange and red, and then just wear a simple black dress with it. If you are shy showing off your waist, those colors can go to your bag or your shoes.
Do not overdo it. Do not wear all trends at one time – Anything in excess is bad. You confuse people’s eyes with too many colors and trends, that it already becomes an eyesore. Try blending your colors based on your skin tone. Red and orange is great with warm skin tones, while blue and green look great with cool undertones.
Complement your body shape/type – Using the right jewelry is the key to complementing your body type. For example, if you are on the short side, avoid big-long chunky stones. If you are on the taller side – go for the long necklaces.
Complement the occasion – If you are aiming for a business or corporate look, thin belts and brooches are the way to go. If you want to paint the town red, then go with the low slung belt and a bohemian bag. Just choose the right pair of heels or flats and you’re set.
Change things up a bit – Try mixing and matching. For example, you can use your tube top as a miniskirt, or maybe your colorful scarf as a belt.
Do Not overdo it – The biggest no-no in accessorizing is putting on more than 3 accessories to one outfit. It is too flashy and makes you look tacky.
