Pregnancy is the period of reproduction and carrying one or more lives. Pregnancy is common for both humans and mammals. It is a carrying of baby in uterus of female. The baby formed in the uterus is called as embryo in the earlier stage and called as fetus till its birth.

There may be multiple developments of embryos in the uterus and sometimes it may be twins or triplets. Some women can give birth to more than three babies at a time and it happens in many countries. The term embryo refers to the development of baby after fertilization and the word fetus refers to the development of baby after two months of fertilization until the birth of baby.

Pregnancy is also termed as controversy by the English people. The birth of baby takes about 38 weeks or about nine months after fertilization. The word fertilization refers to the process of penetration of male sperms into the female egg. Pregnancy can also be achieved by artificial fertilization.

The baby which is delivered before 38 weeks is called as pre-mature birth. Most of the pre-mature babies are very sick after the birth and some of the pre-mature birth results in death. The human pregnancy has three stages or trimesters.

The earlier stage or the first stage of pregnancy may have great risk of abortion or natural death of the developed embryo and the second stage is the development of baby or otherwise called as fetus and it is very easy to monitor. In the third stage the fetus have ability to stay alive in the uterus of the women with or without the help of medical care. The pregnancy can be confirmed by the missed menses of women or by pregnancy test.

The problems of pregnancy are as follows, pain in pregnancy, weight loss of baby after birth, pre-mature birth, shortage of blood during delivery and diabetes.
