We have heard the question since we were in grade school, “Does he like me?” If only we took a minute to think about it and stopped being insecure it would be easy to spot. After all isn’t it easy to see when a guy likes your girlfriends?
When you want to know, just ease up for a second and take note of the signs.
- Is he acting like you are the only woman in the room?
- Does he have extended phone calls with you? Or can you talk for hours?
- Has he taken the time to introduce you to his friends?
- Does he watch “chic fliks” with you? Take an interest in your clothes or your friends?
- Does he re arrange his schedule to meet you?
- Does he look into your eyes and take interest in what you are saying?
- Does he bring up movies or concerts that are playing while talking with you?
- Can’t he keep from touching you? In the small of you back, hands or arm?
All of these are excellent signs of interest that you can pick up on.
I am sure that you understand that just because a man is interested in you does not mean you need to rush out to date him. Just being there does not make him Mr. Right. You need to use your instincts to determine if he may be right for you. Ben & Jerry’s might not have been around when you last had a date, but don’t let that intimidate you into dating the wrong guy.
So if you’re interested in him, how can you gain his interest in return?
This is not an easy question to answer, because no two men are alike in every way. There are some things that can be done to increase a man’s interest in you. Thing is if his interests lay with thin, athletic brunettes and you are a curvy blonde that likes to read it is probably not in anyone’s best interest to take if further.
It is usually best to be with someone that can appreciate what you have to offer. If you have to become the opposite of what you are to get his attention you may end up losing your unique identity. These are the kinds of things that cause splits so make sure to choose wisely.
How to use body language to gain interest
The first thing that you need to realize is that no matter what you are doing, you are sending signals with your body language. You could be sitting in a café at lunch or in a meeting at work and be sending out clear signals with your body language. So you need to understand what you’re saying with it.
Take control of your signals if you want to attract men and plant the seeds you want planted. If you’re planning a trip to a restaurant that your guy frequents, don’t bring items that will send the wrong signal. Examples would be your laptop, books or homework. These are items that say I am busy so leave me alone. Don’t set up road blocks to your own happiness.
Folded arms across your chest are like having a leave-me-alone sign hanging around your neck. So keep your arms away from your chest.
Make eye contact by looking him in the eye as he enters a room. Make sure to smile and nod to let him know that you have noticed him. By nodding you can catch him off guard as it is a gesture used primarily by men and may make you stand out.
Take extra care with your appearance when want to catch a man’s attention. If you generally don’t wear make-up, you may want to try adding a little for a fresh look.
Catch his attention with scents
Find that alluring scent and add just a hint behind your ears, on the pulse points of your neck, wrist and behind the knee. Don’t overdo the effect just a dab will be enough.
Gain his interest with mental stimulation
Find out where your guys interests lie. When you find out what his passion is, show an interest in it. Does he like sports? Cars or motorcycles? Maybe his secret passion is fishing.
Why wouldn’t he find you more interesting than those other women who show no interest at all in his passions when your eyes light up as he talks about them? By doing a little research you can make it exciting and share the enthusiasm that he has.
