In our tradition of posting our appreciation for those who pay visits via entrecard here are the top droppers for October. These are blogs which I also visit frequently to read their latest posts and you also may find articles of interest there.
Now for those interested in knowing just how many visits it took from them to get on this list. There was a tie for first place. Every one of the top ten visited 31 times over the last month. Thank you for supporting our blog and I encourage anyone interested to subscribe.
They say that time flies when your having fun and time surely has flown by this month. It has been busy and now here we are again recognizing our friends and loyal visitors to the blog.
September was crazy!
It was a 10 way tie for first place with everyone having 30 drops for September. Competition is getting tight so if you want to make the list next month, you’re going to need to stop by daily.
So lets get rolling with some great posts by the top ten droppers.
Believe it or not the bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac by the federal government is actually good news for the stock and housing markets. It is bad news for Treasury bonds. It also increases the chance that your taxes are going to go up in the future.
This is a good time to start to get into the market again. Keep putting away money into a variety of funds just a little bit at a time but do it often.
And don’t put it all in one place. That is the quickest way to lose it.

Entrecard is a nice way of finding new blogs and resources.
There are some great people with excellent blogs who visit the Authority Directory every month as they follow new posts and comments here. I like to recognize their interest and support of our blog.
As you can see we have five repeats from June in the top ten sites to drop in July. The repeats shifted positions a little but Squeaky held onto that top spot.

You just have to love the movie Forrest Gump. Well at least I do so I thought I would delve into what I know to be the truth behind what Forrest was trying to say.
Sure he built an empire of shrimp, ran for 3 years, 2 months, 14 days and 16 hours, won the Congressional Medal of Honor and became the world champion of ping pong, but in his free time Forrest Gump imparted his wisdom to all of us.

I wanted to make sure that I took some time to recognize and thank the following top ten sites who have visited the Authority Directory Blog from Entrecard in June 2008.
There are a couple blogs from directories in the top ten this month which is nice to see. Those being Squeaky’s and Lobo Links who are both well respected in the directory community. Anyone seeking quality directories to submit your websites and blogs to should take some time to visit them.
I visit these sites often and encourage you to do the same so you can also experience what they have to offer.
All right faithful readers this one is not for the faint of heart. You should only watch this if you’re ready to see something very strange indeed.
I really like watching Criss Angel and a friend of mine recently pointed out this video. When I saw it all I could really think was oh my god, they killed her!
Just like anyone else, when I see things like this the first thing I wonder is how did he do that. Even when knowing would spoil the whole effect on me.
I was once involved in a trick with David Copperfield that you can read a little more about in this article, but this video is just unreal. I have watched it over and over again and just cannot figure out the trick.
The Mind Freak just completely freaked me out on this one.
With gas prices hovering around $4 per gallon here I was naturally curious when I saw a tiny car driving down the street a few days ago. It looks like the car you see Inspector Clouseau (played by Steve Martin) driving around in the 2006 film version of the Pink Panther.
So today I have been doing a little research on the car and found that amazingly enough that this little car achieved the highest ratings from the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety.
That led me to do some additional searching where I found this amazing video of a crash test with the car. See what happens when the Smart Car hits a concrete barrier at 70 MPH.
That is just amazing footage and by the way, these Smart Cars are supposed to get around 40 MPG.
Well I am going to kick off a new category here in the blog with an interesting little trick my wife showed me the other day. I am not sure where she found it but it is pretty cool and we will get to that in just a minute.
The reason I am starting up this new category is to allow for the blog to get just a little more personality. I am going to use this category to post about things that are a little more personal to me. It may be something I just find interesting or odd or just cool like todays post.
Anyway it will allow for you the readers to see a little of me here on the site and for me to get to know the readers here just a little better.
