We do moderate comments on the blog and here are just a few of the rules concerning commenting.
- We do not censor comments due to ideological or political point of views.
- We do not allow comments that are abusive, off-topic, use foul language or ad hominem attacks.
- Your first few comments will be pre-moderated prior to them going live.
- Every comment will be moderated regardless.
- We do not allow live links in comment text.
- If your comment does not offer something of value to the post it will be deleted. No useless comments like “great post!” if you follow me.
- Feel free to express your opinion in ways that are not rude or offensive. We appreciate your comments, but rudeness or offensive remarks will not be tolerated.
A few new items.
- We have instituted the do-follow comment system on a trial basis.
- After ten acceptable comments the link in your comments will become do-follow.
- We do not accept keyword spam as link text - only your name or the official site name of the link.
- Askimet is activated and serves to filter comments - If askimet filters your comment it will be deleted.
